Researchers have said that women who disclose things about themselves on Facebook are very lonely in reality.
In examining the Facebook postings of 616 women, the researchers from
Charles Sturt University in New South Wales, Australia, found that the
more info that women put out there, the lonelier they actually were, CNET reported.
They said that the women, who were lonely, disclosed more about their
relationship status, as well as their address and their literary and
musical tastes.
Last year, University of Michigan researchers
discovered that the more time people spent on Facebook, more unhappy
they became.
